Not enough time at the moment to write much, but I've been having thoughts on these things, any of which might become an actual post at some time in the future:
-the lost art of shoe polishing
-popcorn on Saturday nights
-respect for one's self, the occasion, and others vis-a-vis dress
-do we ever stop being our parents' children?
-things I've discovered in this past year of being an exchange parent
Side note: that is the first time I've ever used"vis-a-vis" in a sentence.

Well, hello Sue's busy life! I still check your blog and am glad to see a post. Both shoe polishing and popcorn were Saturday night activities at my house when we were growing up, and both very important and special. Thanks for posting!
