It's been 19 years since we've had this kind of a snowfall...16+ inches in a few short hours. The university cancelled classes (they never actually close), which is remarkable enough, but even more amazing is they made the decision THE NIGHT BEFORE! Go Chancellor Martin!!
Here's a picture from the December 1990 snowfall. Cute kids and their dad, playing at Olbrich while mom stayed home and baked. Or decorated. Something Christmas-related.
