Baby Guts

Having a dog in the house is a lot like having a toddler around. You have someone extra in bed every so often (or...every night), you spend a lot of time making sure he gets plenty of exercise, and there is a lot more picking up to do. When they get ear infections, there's the medicine-twice-a-day routine. When you go to the store, you bring home a new toy because you know he'll like it. Oh, and you have a lot of cute stories that are probably not nearly as funny or interesting to other people as they are to you.

I was at WalMart a few days ago, and picked up a new "baby" for Gunther. He doesn't seem vicious in any way, but he is quite determined to get the squeaker out of his toys. And this is what is looks like when he does...

Did I mention that there's a lot more picking up to do?
